  1. Yeah, they had those on the same day too: “Distilling” and “Distilling 2″. They were pretty inneiestrtg also covered most distilled liquors, including absinthe and moonshine.

  2. Listened to the podcast, and I deilnitefy agree that label art makes a difference. Contrary to popular belief, decent beer is not THAT hard to make. Granted, it’s easy to mess up, but there is plenty of good beer out there. Even if people don’t admit it, labels are often the only thing they have to go on when making purchasing decisions – part of the reason that crappy beers become popular. Like other products, drinking beer is a holistic experience, and it’s nearly impossible to separate the product itself from the marketing around the product.

  3. As a guy, I always enjoy recieving (and owning) durable, high-quality hard goods. A night out at a restaurant, spa weekend, tickets to a game, etc. are all very fleeting. Clothing wears out even a leather jacket or something.Fellas like to have a good set of tools on hand. A nice 100+ piece set comes in handy, as does a drill with various bits. For electronics, good quality speakers can last decades, even as the technology gets upgraded and improved. A nice chair (office or living room) is great to have, as is a quality desk, for that matter.Around the kitchen, nothing beats a good knife.Whatever you get a man as a gift, make sure it outlasts his current pair of running shoes.

  7. Sometimes people foegrt what dieting should really be about, and that’s feeling good. That includes your health and self-esteem.I don’t think you get that when you limit yourself completely food is a great pleasure in life. But indulging, or giving in to bad food every day, can be even worse. And I know you’ve kept that in mind.I know you’re going to overcome the dreaded P word.Besides, it’s good to know I’m not the only one awake at 5 a.m.!

  8. Richard III only has one matinee on Sunday, July 17th. The Directors maululty decided that they would rather have more nighttime performances of Richard and more daytime performances of As You Like It.

  9. Brian Posted on I like MacBook computers very much, there are nueormus great features presented by them. I agree with the fact that investing money in developing the CPU in the case of such devices was a very good idea, an idea that was necessary and which enabled them to design products that were considered much more developed than other similar products that had been previously released on the market

  10. Great roundup! The Eventlet bcnehmark could benefit from a little tweaking. I used the following code and achieved significantly better performance.from eventlet.green import socketfrom eventlet import api,hubshubs.use_hub(“pyevent”) def handle_socket(sock): sock.sendall(“HTTP/1.0 200 OK\r\nContent-Length: 5\r\n\r\nPong!\r\n”) sock.close() server = socket.socket()server.bind((‘localhost’, 8030))server.listen(500)while True: try: new_sock, address = server.accept() except KeyboardInterrupt: break # handle every new connection with a new coroutine api.spawn(handle_socket, new_sock)The major difference here is that makefile() and its consequent object creation cost are not called. This alone makes a big difference, and has the side benefit of being more readable and closer in spirit to the other tests. Also, this code uses pyevent for event dispatching. Pyevent is disabled by default within Eventlet because it is not compatible with threads, but in this sort of test, it provides better performance.

  11. Posted on Haha, Sarah, you’re hilarious and I love it! Honestly, it doesn’t even matetr that they leave my name out when all the cool kids on the internet mention me! We know who has more street cred!XOXOFelicia
